Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier stand to make a lot of money off each other in their rematch at UFC 257.

McGregor, fighting for the first time in over a year — and only the second time since his last match in 2018 — will enter the fight as the No. 4 fighter in the lightweight ranks. Poirier, the top challenger in the division, will look to avenge his previous loss to the Irishman following their first bout in 2014.

Here's everything you need to know about the money on the line at UFC 257, including purse, prize money and both fighters' net worth:

According to a report from the Independent, McGregor and Poirier are both expected to enjoy millions of dollars from their fight. That said, McGregor will reportedly command a much higher payday than his competition.

McGregor's disclosed purse is $5 million, including a cut of the pay-per-view revenues, according to the Independent. Poirier's payday will only be $1 million — a career-high for him — plus a cut of the revenue.

What is Conor McGregor's net worth?

McGregor's net worth is listed at $48 million, according to Forbes. He achieved that mark while fighting in the Octagon only twice since 2016, but it's worth noting he also had a guaranteed disclosed purse of $30 million for his 2017 boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

What is Dustin Poirier's net worth?

Celebrity Net Worth lists Poirier's net worth at $2 million as of 2020.

Conor McGregor's career record

McGregor commands a 22-4 career record (19 KOs) in UFC, though two of those losses have come in his last five bouts. He lost to Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov in March 2016 and October 2018, respectively, both by submission (rear-naked choke). He managed to win a rematch against Diaz, but has not gotten the chance to try again vs. Nurmagomedov, who retired following his win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

Dustin Poirier's career record

Poirier has more fights than McGregor (33) but not quite the record. He's 26-6-1 (12 KOs, seven submissions), including 5-1 in his last six bouts dating back to November 2017. The one loss was against Nurmagomedov at UFC 242, also via submission. Prior to that, Poirier's last two losses came against Michael Johnson in September 2016 (KO) and McGregor in September 2014 (TKO).
